Project goal

The purpose of our project is to show how a compromising network of websites works. This network has nothing to do with real investigative journalism. We are not against journalists, we are against anyone violating journalistic ethics and taking money for deleting or publishing materials.

Fake dirt has nothing to do with journalists: the Journalists' Code requires truthfulness, independence and fairness, which are seriously undermined by such practices.

The Freedom of Expression Act emphasizes the importance of ethics in journalism and the fight against corruption. Our goal is to draw public attention to these unethical practices and protect the integrity of the journalistic profession.

How the network works

The global network is divided into two audiences: RU and UA. RU audience is provided with a negative narrative about UA, and UA audience is provided with a negative narrative about RU. Everything is saturated with customized fake dirt, which is false and whose main purpose is to get money.

The network consists of many sites with different designs. Functionally, everything works the same, the materials are the same, but the design is different, making the sites look like a separate entity. Each site has its own mirrors and the sites are not connected to each other in any way.

Therefore, often the removal of material from one site does not bring any result. The owners actively distribute the deleted article on their other sites, which can lead to the fact that for the removal of the article from each site will have to pay a ransom, which can reach tens of thousands of dollars.

In Ukraine, the network (antikor.com.ua) has legal status, while in Russia all transactions take place via cryptocurrency.

List of domains

If compromising material appears on one website, try using a search and check all pages. Sometimes an article may not show up on Google, but it may already be published.

How to fight

The most important thing to realize is that you don't have to pay money. The worst thing you can do is pay money.

The site owner realizes that you are his source of income. He will remove an article on one site, but he will create ten copies on other sites, so you will have to pay ten times more. You pay in cryptocurrency, and there is no guarantee that the deleted article won't reappear in a month. We constantly analyze deleted content, and as soon as it is deleted on one site, similar publications appear on other sites.

Threatening them is pointless, it doesn't work, and they receive such threats every day. They need to be dealt with by legal means. Look at how many of their sites have been blocked. The more people complain, the more their sites will be blocked. When they see that you are filing complaints and not paying money, you will become a hard target for them. By their logic, it's easier to remove you than to try to get money from you.

We have prepared a guide on how to do it, and all you need to do is follow these simple steps.

Request personal content removal from Google Search

First of all, send a complaint to Google that the site is demanding money for removing articles, this will take a few minutes of your time

  1. Click on the link: https://support.google.com/websearch/contact/content_removal_form?hl=en
  2. Choose: Content is on a site with exploitative removal practices
  3. Select your country and click Next
  4. Has the website asked you to pay money to the site or to an agency for personal content removal?: Yes
  5. Provide additional information: write in your own words that the site is demanding money for removing articles
  6. Add a screenshot of the correspondence showing that you have been asked for money
  7. Specific content URLs: add links to all articles related to you on the K network
  8. Google Search results page URLs: add the url https://www.google.com/search?q=your+name, to show Google that these sites are being searched
  9. Confirmation and Submission

If a negative decision is made, just submit the request again and again, there is no limit to this action on Google and most decisions there are authored, at some point your complaint will simply be reviewed positively.
